Dosing Information for Pyrantel Pamoate
The usual recommended dosage for Pyrantel Pamoate in dogs and cats is 2.5 to 5 mg per pound (5 to 10 mg/kg) once, repeated in three weeks. Please note that each ml contains 50 mg. If it is a severe worm infection your vet may recommend a larger initial dose of 5 mg.
Example 10 lbs dog or cat 2.5 x 10lbs = 25mg. This dosage should be repeated treatment in two to three weeks
