But the good thing is with Tobrex® Antibacterial Ophthalmic Ointment for dogs, your pet doesn’t have to suffer or go blind because you can make the pink eye problem disappear if it’s caused by bacteria.

Tobrex® Antibacterial Ophthalmic Ointment is specially formulated as a sterile topical treatment to treat your dog’s external ophthalmic infections and it contains tobramycin 0.3% as the active ingredient.

Tobramycin is a water-soluble aminoglycoside antibiotic active against a wide variety of gram-negative and gram-positive ophthalmic pathogens.

Other ingredients contained in Tobrex® Antibacterial Ophthalmic Ointment are; chlorobutanol 0.5% (a preservative), mineral oil, white petrolatum.

After purchase, you should receive this product as a sealed carton containing a 3.5g tube with a screw cap – do not use it if the seal on the carton is broken or if the tube looks punctured or squeezed.

How to Use

Gently open the package and apply about 1 inch-sized strip of this ointment inside the lower eyelid of your dog’s affected eye(s) 2-3 times daily. Also, within the first two days, you should start seeing some improvement. (Please consult your vet for the duration of use)

Storage

For storage, you should keep this product in a cool dry place where the temperature stays below 25°C, please do not freeze.

Note

Do not leave this product in a place susceptible to heat or dampness as this can destroy the product. If this product is unfinished after 4 weeks of use, kindly discard it because it may have been exposed to contaminants that can potentially worsen your dog’s conjunctivitis or cause more damage.
